FIA ENVIRONMENTAL ACCREDITATION

The FIA Environmental Accreditation is a programme developed by the F.I.A. (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile). Its purpose is to assist those involved in motorsport and the automotive industry in evaluating the environmental sustainability measures each organisation has put in place, through an independent certification process. Accreditation is granted based on three levels, denoted by STARS (one, two, and three stars), ranging from the basic level to a structural level of commitment towards improving environmental impact.

In 2015, Mugello Circuit became the first racetrack in the world to attain the maximum 3 STAR accreditation.
