ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) is an international standard outlining the requirements for an occupational health and safety (OSH) management system. It offers guidance for its implementation, enabling organisations to create safe and healthy workplaces, and proactively enhance their OSH performance. The standard was previously known as OHSAS 18001, but was replaced by ISO 45001 in 2018.
In 2013, Mugello Circuit became the first racetrack in the world to attain OHSAS 18001 Certification. In 2018, it was promptly converted to ISO 45001.
