On next April 16-17-18th, the French organizer V de V Sports, organises two six-hour endurance races to count for its both European Challenges. One six-hour race is reserved for 2 litres modern Sport Prototypes coming from all over Europe, and one other race for modern GT and Touring cars.

Grouped together, several categories are rewarded by a specific classification, the finest current GT cars, Ferrari F430, F360, Mosler MT900, Lamborghini Gallardo, Viper, Ginetta, Marcos but also of course Porsche 964, 993, 996 ou 997, Cup types, RS, RSR or turbo, fight for six hours in the greatest  fair-mindedness with Touring cars, category that is dominated by BMW M3 or Z4 and the very efficient Silhouettes with V6 engines as Touring Cup cars, Mercedes or Volkswagen Sirocco.

It’s the hottest challenge for 2 litres Sport Prototypes in Europe and manufacterers let there be no misunderstanding about, with the French Norma, Ligier, Merlin, Funyo or Sportdrive, facing the English Juno, Radical, Chevron or Lola, but also the Austrian PRC, that will meet the Italian Osella or Lucchini. Cunning strategists, the discipline specialists, gentlemen drivers or young drivers, will fight for the best ranking until the checkered flag is shown after six hours.

Automobile Club of Firenze and Fratres (a bloodletting association) have created a project that meets safety road and the culture of donation. It's a project completely dedicated to the young people and its name is "The road for the life".
Tomorrow in the media center of the circuit more than 200 students will speak about a footage about this argument with some riders and people of the show business.
Andrea de Martino, the Prefetto of Firenze, will introduce the new data about the road accidents into the Florentine counrty between 2007 and 2009.

The award is given to those Italians who promote the image of Italy in the world, be it economics, research or sports and in the case of Rossi it’s because the World Champion has become an icon who represents the marvellous virtues of Italy on a foreign front, making all his compatriots proud to be Italian and with his 103 wins has sounded the Italian national anthem in the five continents.
Nine of 103 wins of Valentino happened at the Mugello Circuit - "His home circuit" -. He spoke a lot about the fantastic battle during 2008 Italian Grand Prix just at the Mugello and about his no win last year with the interruption of seven consecutive wins.

Special event dedicated to 'Woman planet' with a ticket for TIM Italian Grand Prix that Mugello Circuit will host in June, 6th. "Ticket in pink" (in italian Biglietto in Rosa) is devoted to all the women (and to those people that get a nominal ticket with a femine name). It will be possible get tickets for 2-3 days or for race-day only in Centrale Grandstand, Poggio Secco Grandstand or Materassi Grandstand with a discounted price of 20-30%.

www.ticketone.it. This special advancement will be enabled in March, 6th, 7th, 8th. "The feminine component of the Italian Grand Prix grows year in and year out, Mugello Circuit's CEO Paolo Poli said. This special initiative confirm our aim to make the Grand Prix a gala day".

 

About ten thousand people for the first Mugello Motorfest: one thousand of them have been able to test the bikes of every disciplines: road racing, off road, motard, pit bike.......

It's a good beginning for the Mugello Motor Fest: spring sun, people of all ages, big activity on track, paddock and off-road area (Palagio's area) where it's easy to find young (and less young) riders testing the bikes.
Mugello Motor Fest show its potential to represent an event where all the fans of two wheels can easily test their favourite bikes and meet friends.
